Noah's cutest fan

Okay I had post this because its so completely adorable.  Max, our pastors son, loves Noah. He follows him around everywhere he goes. He sneaks into the drum pit with Noah and tries to play the drums with him. I think it may even be the first name he's said.

One night after church Max went looking for Noah and we followed him to see what happened.

Nooooaaaahh?

Max is looking in his favorite place for Noah (The women's bathroom)
Apparently Max thinks that's where Noah likes to hangout at too! Bahahahahaha

Max figures out Noah is not in the bathroom

But...

later decides giving the Ladies Bathroom  one more try
...just in case

Yeah! He found him.

Late Post: Our 1st Christmas Recital

My life in the last month

Ok so its been a while since I have last updated. It has been crazy busy over here, but I do have a couple of posts I will be putting up from what has happened in the last month.

You might be wondering what is keeping me so busy.

1. I am officially a GRADUATE! yeah I know I posted I was graduated and all that, but I hadn't walked down the aisle yet (or in my case had a chance to, because I didn't walk down the aisle) soooo now its really official. I got my diploma in the mail and everything!
2. I had a graduation party at my house, and had a great turn out of my nearest and dearest. One thing that was really awesome was that I got a chance to have some of the children that I use to nanny come. We have kept in contact over the years, but it was neat to have them all here at once. Two of them I hadn't seen in like three years so it was neat to see how much they had grown.
3. We just got out of revival with Brother Randy and Sister Barbara Williams. They are from Colorado. They are such an amazingly talented and annointed couple. We had a choir clinic with them and some other churches were able to join our churches music team. Each and everynight of church we had with them was absolutely powerful. We all wish they could have stayed longer.
4. Our church has been crazy on steriods the last month. We have bible studies coming out of our ears which is the best thing that could ever happen to a church. Every service at the very least there has been 3-4 visitors. There has never been this much hunger displayed in such a long time in this area. God is doing amazing things here. I am so excited! On the humorous side of things it seems like whenever God is at work there is always the weird and "interesting" people that turn up at church. The other night we had this guy talking on the phone really loudly in the middle of church and when the ushers escorted him out they said that nobody was on the other line of the phone.
Another thing that has been kind of awesome is that we are having people coming off the streets to our church. What makes it so awesome is that our church is not on a street that is off the beaten path.
So excited to see what God is going to do next!

Conversation.... The Forgotten Art

The older I get and the more people I meet it becomes quickly obvious to me if a person is a good conversationalist, and those who are seem to be apart of a dying breed.
It seems now days people are more interest in sharing facts about themselves or information they've heard about others. Never once in that "conversation"will they stop to ask you a question because they are geniunely interested in getting to know you more.
You can probably think of examples of people like this off the top of your head. You can usually spot them because they tend to consistantly interrupt you when you are talking, Spout off their beliefs, ideas, and opinions about everything under the sun, but never ask what your thoughts are. They are the type of people when asked, "How are you doing" never ask you in return how you are, and for some reason they are always texting someone about something far more interesting than what you are talking about.
I have found myself having to stop myself from losing my temper a time or two. I've even had to pray about having a right attitude.
That's when a thought came to my mind. Do I do this to Jesus? When I pray do I sometimes talk thee entire time to him about my thoughts, opinions, problems and whatever else I think is important, and not ask him what he thinks or how does he feel? Do I sometimes forget to wait on the lord? Do I sometimes forget to listen to his voice? Maybe he spoke to me but I couldn't hear him because I rushed through prayer with the thought that I put my time in now its time get on with the rest of my day.

You see there is an art to conversation:

One part is talking.

but the second part which is the most important, but rarely valued is
LISTENING

Remember communication is key to any strong, successful relationship.

Something good is on its way!!

Church was so amazing last night!! From now on I am going to carry a camera with me cuz you never know whats going to happen at Calvary Life Church!
Yesterday we had the priviledge of hearing Brother Young from Kansas preach and sing. But last night was especially awesome, because he played the organ, and boy, can he play!! Him and Pastor White sang together and you could feel the presence of God so strong in that place. It was amazing! It totally inspired me to practice the organ more, and to once again start looking for a teacher because compared to Brother Young I can't play for beans..... actually I can't play for beans compared to anybody. God is doing awesome stuff at our church and I am so excited to see what is going happen next.
In other news I am officially done with school!!! I am walking the red carpet on January the 17th, a little less then a month away. In some ways it feels like school went so fast and other ways it just dragged. I'm so thankful God gave me the opportunity to go to school, but I am SOOO glad thats over! Maybe in the far future I will go back and finish my degree in Biblical Anthropology, but thats so far in the future I really can't see it. As far as I am concerned I've been delivered!
